Silly Fun

We had pie for lunch today.  Not for dessert. For lunch.

Today is International Pi(e) Day.  At Bergen and Associates, we’re not shy about finding things to celebrate…we love to create joy…and Del, who came in for a half day today, made sure we celebrated in style.

Lemon meringue pie.

YUM!

March 14 is International Pie Day and we celebrated in style at Bergen and Associates Counseling in Winnipeg
The pie was seriously awesome.
None of us generally has dessert at lunchtime.  Today, we had dessert for lunch.  We laughed and joked around together…and found a way to justify the decadent treat.
Counselors at Bergen and Associates Counseling were silly and ate pie for lunch on International Pie Day, noting it
I know that we were stretching the nutrient value of lemon pie more than a little bit, but it was fun to sit together and live a little.  I love that we were a little silly together…giggling and enjoying the tart sweetness, and feeling slightly naughty for a piece of pie serving as the noon meal. Sometimes it’s not just about living smartly, sometimes it is about embracing the moment and just really…living
I read this poem yesterday, and so when I saw her bring the pie, and I debated between my yogurt and grapefruit or the pie…and ate the pie.  There will be other days to eat fruit and no fat yogurt…today, Pi(e) Day was calling!
