I was out of town this week at Oprah’s Lifeclass with Brené Brown…and with Wednesday’s Hump Nudge coming up…well, Melanie nudged me about what to post…and I loved her suggestion.
Fred just lost the love of his life…they were together 75 years. Wow.
He wrote a song…except he’s not musical, and so he only created the lyrics.
Green Shoes Studio made his song come to life…they created a memory for him.
Is it slick marketing? Perhaps. It is rapidly gaining views. But no one knows when a song is going to go viral.
Their mission is to “change our community, one dream at a time”…sounds like a mission worth investing in…and worth catching on more broadly.
What’s cool is that the production of this song was an act of “making memory”…the studio gave Fred a way to remember his wife…a way to honor his wife.
Methinks that’s helping Green Shoe Studio Inc, create it’s own good memories that will recall precious times in the future.
