In our office we have a calendar that gives advice from nature. It’s cute and we like it, and creates some interesting and casual conversation as folks are nervously waiting for a session to start.
I saw this video that reminded me of that calendar. I love a story where a water buffalo gets attached by lions and then an alligator but his community comes back and lets the animals know that its not OK to hurt one of their own.
This video is 8 minutes…you can watch it on your coffee break or your lunch break, or while you’re doing something else at work you can keep an eye on it. It’s a testament to the value of “hanging in there”, to the value of power in numbers, and the way a community can be protective of its own. Against all odds, the little water buffalo lives to return to its herd.
